Not sure if this has been posted yet (can't be bothered to do a search) but Duckhams has stopped producing their 20w-50 mineral oil.

Apart from being 20/50 I thought duckhams was the wrong "S" spec for GS's.
Isn't it only an SD spec ?

i'm pretty sure duckhams Q 20w50 was SF. as OP says, it's unavailable now and has been for some time.
edit: i checked. it was SF, and this place still has some. interestingly they say they only have limited stocks and suggest an alternative that is SE

Wilco are good people, very helpful and responsive. They used to sell four x 4.5L packs of Duckhams Q 20/50 for around £40-£50 delivered if I recall. Maybe the price has gone up to refect the fact it's no longer manufactured. They also do a 5L EP for the gearbox for around £15.

not too long ago, i used to buy that stuff in packs of four from the local motorist discount shop, usually £8.99 per can, reduced to £7.99. should have bought a lot more. i've run out now
the price of oil has gone through the roof lately
