Oil question

Hello wise fellows of the forum.
I have just changed the oil/filter on my 1150 gsa, 20/50 w mineral. When I look in the sight glass I sometimes see a thin frothy film along the top of the oil level, perhaps half a millimeter deep. Is this normal or am I just a paranoid twat? (dont answer that last bit!)

Probably condensation, I suggest long rides as a cure.

20W-50 is the best oil for that bike and you have a suitable amaunt of it in your engine. Just ride it and enjoy.

do your powers of observation improve when you are scrabbling around on the floor looking at the oil sight glass?

how can you tell it's half a millimeter?

'tis nothing - now if it was more than 2 millimeters then I would worry

Yes, perhaps I am a bit paranoid. Will take it out soon and give it a good spanking. Might take the bike out too!!
