Oil service intervals/quality

Hello! I dont have repairing manual yet and so have ask "classic oil question"
I drive summer and winter. With airhead I use on summer 20w50 and winter 10w40 oil. How it goes with G-bike? Fully syntetic or mineral and sae? And intervals, really 6000 miles as my friend says?

I use 10-40 semi synthetic Ileumi

Just be careful of full synthetic ... your clutch runs in the engine oil

the book does specify 6000 changes.

I don't think my bike has done more than 1500 miles between oil changes.

It's currently running on halfords own semi sythetic 10w40, and there doesn't seem to be any problems with it.
