Lean your bike over to the opposite side, you should be able to see the level appear.

Thanks fella....as if by magic a level appeared...and my wife now knows all about BMW oil sight glasses...

That 20/50 stuff you put in works a treat, 2,500 miles round France, Switerland, Italy and Germany...hardly any usage at all. Cheers...

Thats why i told you to lean it towards the other side to check - that oil just doesn't get burnt
