Apologies for such a simple question, but I’ve moved house and can’t find my handbook. What grade of oil do we use in my 1150 GS.

Also what’s the procedure for checking the level.

20w50 or 15w40 semi-synthetic is fine, cheap and available in most places.

half way up the sight glass, on centre stand.

also, loads of threads on this topic here and elsewhere via google. a quick search would mean you avoid the usual "not another oil thread" and "read the fucking manual" replies.
