Can't go

Something of a family crisis has emerged in the last 24 hrs which I had hoped would resolve itself but hasn't so I'm afraid I can't make it this time. I'm really gutted as had been looking forward to this trip for a good while. Apologies Clare and Tom for the short notice.

I'm sure it will be an absolutely brilliant weekend.

You'll be missed Fergal, but family comes first hope it all works out

Thank you all so much for your company this weekend, we had such a fantastic time and great craic, again it was a pleasure and we only hope you enjoyed it as much as we did

Thank you to everyone who gave a helping hand with the food, bbq, tidying, (tobacco refreshments ) and anything and everything that made the weekend go smoothly and to all those who kindly offered their help, it was appreciated

Thank you for all the lovely gifts, it was very heart warming, there really was no need but rest assured they are being enjoyed this evening

Happy Birthday to Mark and Robert, hope you two especially enjoyed yourselves

Bob I hope your finger is ok, Dougal sends his love

Jay the mussels you made were quite possibly the most delicious ones I've ever had and thank you for the big bag to take home (Jochen I'm sure you're close to tears )
