ISDT R80gs .... sex on wheels

Mav ... just jesting
but when i see a 800 enduro I do like the compact size ...
and what I want is a ISDT Bike with modern front forks , Disk Brake and Electric Start and everything else minimal ....
hope to work in that Direction .... and maybe run it in the Hero's legend 2010
but out last weekend on the HP2 and the power ..... what a buzz

Thought so - and I agree, those old airheads are :drool

And as for the HP2 - due to overseas travel and having the forks rebuilt, I hadn't taken my HP out for nearly two months... I was starting to think maybe the GSA was all I needed... but we went out for a play just before this trip... you gotta love the ability to just roll on in third and fourth and the bike just seems to revell in it. It certainly makes an average rider like me look a lot better than I am!
 
What a brilliant bit of film :thumb, thanks, nearly had a tear in my eye at the slow motion jump scene at the end. (I said nearly!)

Shades of "On any Sunday", worthwhile viewing, though no BMW content.

I was chating on the phone to guy called Richie Moore this afternoon who's been racing airheads offroad since the early 90's - i'm looking forwared to catching up with him in the new year.

He's got an airbox mod I'm going to use on the HL which uses a BMW 2002 air filter

he modified my R80gs frame , it is still in the garage
when i done the 1st big bike challange I had a longer swing arm and Shaft 50mm and KTM front end (that kept on clattering against the tank") and never got around to fitting the modified frame .but hope to start putting it together as a up to date replicia of the old GS800 .. with disk brake and electric start and a GS650 twin engine with 1000cc Barrels .

I see you are entered in the Heros legend . and you bike is being modified for that ... good luck with it

I really like my moded Airhead...and use it a lot more than the HP2 :comfort
