Those halcyon days, 2006.
A brief synopsis
12 set off.
Through France, Spain, figure of eight around Morocco, then back in 8 days.
Even riding miles out of our way just to visit Tossa, the natural home of GSers
8 in a small taxi in Marrakesh
Bill/Fanum smashing a hotel pot being helped by Forry .

Didn’t we lose one of the 12 in the tunnel around Madrid? From memory, he was reluctant to buy a map.

I remember Bill (Fanum) smashing the big pot.

Forry, talking required subtitles.

I remember one was ahead of us after riding past when we were on a fuel stop. We come across him a few miles further on at the side of the road on his phone calling his wife for help obvs he bailed out at that point fearful of the pisstaking coming his way
And best not to mention Donny and his “we need to stop as I’m nearly out of petrol” just after we’d had a fuel stop

Ting Tong Tom .. who’s ghostly voice to this day can still be heard screaming in a Moroccan hotel car park “ don’t leave me, don’t leave me”
