Sold Omega Geneve automatic 1986

Hi,

This was my dad's watch which he received as a retirement gift in 1986. When he passed away it languished in a drawer at my brother's house for about 8 years unworn. I received it earlier this year and had it serviced and refurbished at Omega for the princely sum of £875. The repair was handled by The Watch Repair Centre in Newcastle who are authorised Omega agents.

The watch is now running beautifully and keeping excellent time. The original bracelet was replaced with a copy as the links had quite a bit of play in them. The original clasp is fitted. All in all it's a very presentable Omega for daily wear.

I had intended to wear it but personally prefer my Seiko SKX007 as a daily wearer and it would be a shame if this watch were to gather dust in the back of a drawer again.

Prices seem all over the place for this model but I would hope for offers around £800 posted UK RMSD.

Genuinely lovely this - if it helps anyone from having to look it up as I just did it's a 36mm / classic dj size. Trying to slim down the collection rather than add to it, otherwise would be sorely tempted! The 007 is also a great bit of kit, glwts.

Genuinely no idea as to how to price it. I know it cost me £875 to have it repaired and serviced but happy to listen to offers or guidance?

£625 posted UK for this classic Omega Geneve.

Fully refurbished by Omega in Switzerland and now looks and works like a brand new watch.

Would make an excellent Xmas present!
