A very excellent and utterly capable machine! I’d have one!Very well .
Took my Wing to Picos in 2023 and Pyrenees last October

It has a very low c of g , bit like a GS so is much more flickable than it looks .
@EVskiy has ridden it in Germany and someone like @Skid06 will vouch for it handling the Picos etc just fine .
You’d blend-in in London! Might even be able to grab a few phones while over there if you have decent amount of practiceNot particularly exciting but I must admit today was a real challenge . Yet I stayed warm due great heated kit and quality base layers . Just needed heated socks .
Whilst I think of it , this simple balaclava was a game changer. Very thin but very warm

Looks massive in that picture but it’s very neat . Saved the day.
Enabled me to ride for three hours in -3 and freezing fog with visor up and screen down . Without it I would have been fucked.

I've not tried the bagger or the DCT, but my Wing handled very well. It was possibly the easiest bike I have owned on which to ride slowly. Feet up u turns are a doddle and they can get a wriggle on when circumstances demand. They do lack luggage capacity even though they look like they could even fit the kitchen sink, especially if you are 2 up and away for some time. Mine was far and away the most comfortable bike I have ridden. The lovely Mrs Derek felt she was a little remote from the riding experience, sat back from me in her armchair. She preferred the GS and the Varadero for riding pillion.Stopped off in my local Honda dealer yesterday to like at a bagger. How does the bagger handle areas like the Pyrenees or Picos?

The Rev It balaclava is very thin. But very warm .Scary
Is the top thin so doesn't make your lid tight? Many of these things are thick in the wrong places.
How has the battery pack worked on the heated vest?
I only use the highway pegs on long days out . Think I used them once for a few minutes in this trip .Amazing capable bikes that handle way better than you would comprehend a bike of that size handling. I have done some long runs with the Wife as pillion and you hardly notice her there except when she is saying slow down..
How do you get on with the Highway pegs are they worth having, do they make it even more comfortable on a long run ?
Thanks...
Turns out I’ve got a hernia which may be the cause of recent pain. Being referred to a surgeonLovely pics and I hope the scan went well. Shocked to find the Wing doesn't have a heated seat though!![]()
