On/ Off road tyre choice

I live down a muddy track and the current road type tyres on my GS are struggling to find grip.Coming to Autumn I will have the added issue of leaves on the track.
I need to change the Bridgestone tyres fitted to my 10reg F1200GS and need some advice on suitable off road tyres that give reasonable on road capabilities- tyre wear, handling, relatively low noise and braking.
I am looking for a country/ road type tyre. Any thoughts gratefully received.

I haven't tried them but if I were in your position, I'd be trying Heidenaus.

I used them on my 1200GSA and they worked well enough on bitumen and dirt wet and dry, however the fron tyre ran very noisey. They lasted just shy of 12,000km and I would probably have replaced with the same if they had been available. They are good tyres if you accept that they are a down the middle compromise.

I haven't tried them but if I were in your position, I'd be trying Heidenaus.
