One of the Scooters

Wife has been complaining that she wanted a scooter for the streets of Shanghai, I have been running 2 petrol models for around a year but she doesn't want the hassle with the police and petrol monitors.

So I picked this cheeky little electric one for less than 2000Y (Thats 200quid). Basically bikes are so cheap here from new, you lose little on them for a few years......

Does 60kms on a charge and is a nippy little fella at 70kph

How many kms have you/wife actually achieved on a single charge riding normally? I am assuming, based on my understanding that Shanghai is basically a city state, that it will be all urban riding stop/start with a lot of traffic.

Around town, lots of stop start with a lot of open road also. 50km easy, haven't really drained it yet.

How long to recharge from dead?

5 to 7 hours or you can buy a quick charger to do it in 2hours.
