Hi folks,

Cliff has asked me to invite all Tossers for another bacon roll and coffee session at his retail unit at Acton, near Sudbury on Sunday 11 March. The open weekend was good fun, but the weather stopped a lot of folk from making the journey. Hopefully this time will be different!

So, Cliff will be opening his doors between 10am and 2pm so people can come along and sample his hospitality, have a chat and a browse and maybe buy some nice new kit for 2012. He has more Touratech kit in stock as well as the tents, panniers, Klim clothing etc.

I will be there again with the lovely Sarah, making people feel welcome with tea, coffee and food. It would be great to see you there.

The address is Unit 19, Inca Business Park, Acton, Sudbury, Suffolk, CO10 0BB, and for more details about the company you can check outhttp://www.adventurebikeshop.co.uk

Cheers!

Matt

Nooooooooooooooooooooo............. not more bacon rolls! :drool :D

I reckon this is your idea really isn't it! :augie

Hi folks,

Looks like the weather is going to be kind this weekend, with sunshine and temperatures in the teens. Here's hoping for a good turnout.

Don't forget it is 10am til 2pm on Sunday, but Cliff is open as usual on Saturday too (but I suspect no bacon rolls on Saturday).

Cheers,

Matt

Think I'll have a tootle over myself too.

Went there 2 saturdays ago and it was shut :nenau

Looked good through the window though ! :thumb2

I reckon about midday Geordie. I need to leave enough of a gap from breakfast to fully enjoy the bacon rolls but if we leave it too late, some other Tossers will have eaten them all !
See you there and remember, I have the F800 Bumble-Bee now

Hi All,

With the weather looking so good should have a good turnout,

We'll be along to pick up our goodies ordered from Cliff, and to assist with the teas/bacon rolls etc.

Look forward to seeing you there,

Mark.

I will be there on my new Super Tenere. A good weekend to do some running in!

Hi guys,

What a fantastic turn-out. 70+ bikes with 100+ people made the most of the great weather and the hospitality. We ran out of bacon rolls and coffee cups before 2pm, so apologies to those (like me) who did not get anything to eat. There is always next time!

I was too busy chatting and handing out the refreshments to get many photos when it was really busy, but this was the scene fairly early on...

Cliff passes on his thanks to all who popped in today, and I believe he is thinking of doing this again a few times during the summer as it proved so popular.

See you soon,

Matt :thumb

Yep, it was good. Lots more bikes than i thought there would be (thought why I thought there's wouldn't be 70+ bikes I don't really know ... ).

Suprised at how many non 'Adventure' type bikes there were. Even a Vincent !

There were 6 Bumble-bees there whilst i was there. I felt positively common as muck !

A good shop too and had a natter with Cliff - top bloke. Every time i looked over to see if it would be a good time to say 'Hi' to you Matt, you were busy yapping so I carried on chatting to Geordie156 :thumb2

I even managed to avoid capitulating to my strong urge to have a bacon roll !:tears

See you next time :thumb2

I have to say too that the only bikes i really looked at and drooled over were the airheads ......... I could see me on one of those. Gorgeous in their simplicity :D

Sorry I did not get to have a chat with you, Dave. It was a bit hectic!

Hopefully we can have an East Anglian ride out and breakfast soon where there will be more time to chat.

Regards,

Matt
