Operation Brock / M20 - A rolling thread, so do check the dates, as it’s not a permanent fixture

Is it safe for Northern people though? After making sure they're not mugged, stabbed, …. putting themselves at risk from the Highway Men and Footpads of rural Kent?

Most of them panic at signs for the M25. The shock deepens when they catch sight of buildings with glass in the windows (as opposed to boards) and they hear rumour of water coming out of something called a tap.

The only "developed" country in Europe able to make a 120km motorway drive into a 5 hour crawl.

Thank god, at least, we built HS2 for bods commuting from the North. Ah, no, wait...

I managed to get through last Saturday unscathed, not mugged or stabbed, always use that route.

She's back...

In preparation for expected increased traffic using Kent’s major roads and the Port of Dover over the coming months, the system will be reinstalled on the night of Monday, July 13.The traffic management system will be in place on the coastbound carriageway of the M20 between Junction 8, for Hollingbourne Interchange, and Junction 9, for Ashford, with a reduced speed limit, creating dedicated lanes for HGVs to queue.
The Kent and Medway Resilience Forum (KMRF) has said that Operation Brock will remain in place for over a month until Monday, August 24.
