Optimate 3 and Odessey battery compatible?

Hi All,

Does anyone know if the Optimate 3 (not the SP latest model, mine is about 2years old) is compatible with the Odessey battery (Absorbed Glass Matting type PC535)?

My vintage optimate, a mk1 I guess, works fine with my Odyssey battery. Keeps it charged up during storage.

I've never let the battery get completely flat so I cannot say if the Optimate will recover a dead AGM battery.
