Hi guys,
I have a Zega Pro Topcase fitted to the the GSA rack via the TT Universal bracket.

It has worked fine, but recently I noticed some stress fractures. They haven't compromised it totally yet, but it is probably just a matter of time now.

Any suggestions (photos/examples would be great) for a decent (stronger) mount option?

Any examples of other quick release options?
I could just mount it directly with pipe clips (as the current universal bracket is mounted) but that's a bit too "slow" release for my liking.

My temptation is to mod a GSA topcase bracket and mount it permanently to the box. Then it is just four bolts to release it. Anybody done this? I don't have welding equipment, but I am sure I can find a talented soul to do it for me.

I assume it's aluminium?
Being a cheap bastard and "fixer of all", I would grind out the crack and Tecnoweld it (or similar Product by one of the many names they sell under).

Thanks for that. I hadn't come across it before. I have a few aluminium Garden chairs that might now finally get fixed as well.

Have a search here on the forum. I believe I discussed this earlier. There was one version called "Alutight".
