I have the full set of black BMW OE panniers.
Verdict?
- Crazy price really
- do like how they attach to the bike. Very easy to fit and secure mechanism.
- Don’t like the the aluminum pannier frame. With a TB it looks a bit out of place
- The side cases have a lip all around the upper frame. Very irritating as you can’t just drop your bag in like the old Ali panniers on the 1200/1250
- Top box is bonkers tall. Far too tall in my mind but I do like the light and electrical fitting
- I do like the central locking on the top box
- They are well made and strudy
- Electrical fitting to top box and 1 side pannier also very well designed
End verdict. I like them and I tend to go for OE originals anyway but really I prefer the panniers for the old 1250 I had
Also no graphics / decals / stickers available yet apart from Alicrap which I bought but decided not to mount
