I'm going up to Snowdonia for the weekend camping. You're welcome to join me and then then get your first service booked in for Monday :D :beerjug:

The matt red is an absolutely lovely colour - I saw it last week at BMW Laceby.

I`m sure you will be very pleased with it, enjoy!

Will you be putting fully synth oil in it.................:hide
Thanks Mark.

It's already booked on the boat to bilbao next month :)

I just happened to be at Bahnstormers today. First service on my 16MY GSA (Ocean Blue which I'm very happy with...... or was!) and the white you are getting is bl***dy good to look at. Really liked it when I saw one there today.

That was good news that they managed to get one for you by getting it out of Park lanes stock. As has been said here or in another post I think these 2.9% deals are helping them sell like hot cakes. I understand that dealers do help each other out like that so its excellent that Ryan was able to locate that for you.

I have to say I like the GSA quite a bit more than the GS. And I think not just for the really long days. I cant put my finger on it but it just feels so right.I had a slowish day around Cadwell on it last week too. I told the Hopp Rider Training guy I was running it in bu it was still great fun even not going over about two thirds of the rev range.

Anyway Awesome bike, Congratulations. Only four more sleeps and you'll have it. :thumb2

I hope you ENJOY.

Am working in a supremely sophisticated and underhand manner to convince SWMBO that, at my age, I now need an LC (Jeez, they have got some grunt) to see me through until I can't hold it up any more (I don't need outfield jokes on that)...... Not sure about the keyless, though, it seems like an unnecessary complication.

To quote somebody else on here "get it Bought" UpGradeAl !!! If you're fancying a used GS LC I would say getting a 15 MY with the heavier flywheel is a point to bear in mind. Oh and with the Gear Shift assist of course.

PS. I have a top box and a tank bag for THE GSlc that I'll be able to sell you too! (dont fit on the GSA of course)

Cheers :-)

Apparently the GS tankbag will fit on the GSA. I've seen some pictures on here of it.:thumb

Thanks Merrick:thumb2

Always been impressed with the service i've had from Bahnstormers both at Alton and Maidenhead. The new bike Ryan has sourced unfortunately doesn't have keyless start but tbh it's not a deal breaker. I'm an impatient bugger and if I want one with keyless start i'll have to wait until the end of Oct which i'm not prepared to do. So the new bike has the quick shifter and an alarm and is expected to arrive in Maidenhead tomorrow. The chaps then have the additional bit's i've ordered to fit and we'll be formally introduced Friday evening hopefully!!!:thumb2

Nicely done Chris, congrats on the new bike.

Now....question is......are you going to 'throw' it down the road like you did the 1150SE......:P

Now now Keith play nicely!!! I never 'threw' the SE down the road mearly laid it down a few times on the plains and maybe once or twice in the Riff, Morocco...

Indeed so Chris :D

To be fair, your SE is immaculate & the new owner will be delighted.

As for your WC.....make sure you give it a royal spanking as it's so much fun - I had a day out on the Bahnstormer demo bike that Nutty sorted for me & loved it.......;)
