If anyone has ordered a 1200GS in the last month can you let me know what delivery time you have been given - i.e. has it come down yet?

I ordered mine in May and was initially told it will be available in June/July, then I was told September, then I was told June/July, then September/October, I got a call on Tuesday from the dealer. They will be taking delivery of 2 new 1200GS's on the 10th of August and mine will be one of them. But he couldn't say what colour they will be getting ? I ordered a red model so I'm holding thumbs one of them is red.

Order mine last Friday after a test ride both one and two up. Her indoors was pleased !!!

They are available with one week PDI delay.....but you'll have to take what's in.....
Spend 15 mins phoning round......lots of canceled orders and a fair few exchanges in dealerships where people have gone back in and ordered a new ADV instead
(seriously.....have a look around...I can't believe people are still waiting!!!)

I went through this a month or so ago. I found a variety of delivery dates from September 04 to March 05. I also found as fanum said one August delivery which I could not change the spec. on i.e. last minute cancelled order. I decided to stick with my late October delivery at the local dealer. Things may well have changed now but most of them said they had not had any cancellations or did not expect them. YMMV .

Ordered mine from Astle , Grimsby last month and got a date mid Sept.
Mate of mine ordered one in may and takes delivery on Saturday
Its a dealership in Grimsby and must be well out of the way of most folk.and the salesmen seem fine.
Usually get my bike's from Rainbow , but it was December delivery
