Cool:cool:

They look like a great addition to anyones map collection. Daithi, I think you should buy a set & let us play with them :D

I'll contribute €10 for the cause...
Be aware that you having possesion of these means you have no excuse not to organise even more runs though!

Alright, I'll order one of them, anyone else want in on this "once in a lifetime deal" ? Pledge just €10 and you could help a gadget addict stay out of trouble for a while, give a little, it would help a lot. :o

No Problem, and I know just the sucker man for the job. :green gri

Grand.. post (or PM) your PAYPAL address and I'll send a digital photo of a tenner on..

I'd love to know how you get on with them...50 quid is a lot better than the 150 quid they were previously charging.. You got pm..

In answer to the 376 PMs I recieved on this subject, please read the following.

OSi Trail Master is licenced for personal use only, the licence key you received with the product allows you to install the software onto one PC only. In the event that you change or upgrade your PC you are entitled to re-install the software.

So much for my new money making racket. :(
I think I'll go ahead and buy one of the DVDs anyway, well it's a pre-christmas gift to myself.
Looks like there's only limited coverage, this is all they have for the south of Ireland.

Ah, so you've cancelled that order for the helmet cam & recorder ?? :augie
Oh no, that is my pre-Birthday present to myself, what she doesn't know about..... ;)

Blast, lazy bloody civil servants, won't answer their phones.

I thought you might be able to upload detailed topo maps to a supported GPS receiver, but it doesn't seem to be the case:

So it's like an OSI version of Google Earth (albeit with 3D terrain), with specific waypoints and markers.. Someone should buy the product, and export all of the 'Waypoints and interest marks' to GPS XML file (GPX). There can't be a copyright on GPS co-ordinates, can there?!

*Edit*: Export routes, maps and aerial photography to a Pocket PC device.

If that was a possibility I'd certainly be interested in throwing a few bob into the hat :thumb

What type of helmet cam are you getting?
I was looking at an Oregon Scientific ATC2000 as one our suppliers is the importer.. Reports on some sites say it's good to be fully submerged to 1meter and quite cheap too.

OH.. and let me be the first to say Sappy birthday.. Next Friday I see..:beerjug:

Yeah, it's the ATC 1000 that I have, but the video quality is poor enough and it seems to be jumpy, they are a cheap option though. :thumb2

This looks to be the best alrounder, seems to be only available in the US, anyone got any helpful suggestions on how I could
get two of these to I reland without paying Duty, VAT on the Duty and TAX on the vat on the Duty
