I have never liked the idea of cruisers, but after having first a Fatboy then a Heritage Softail as loan bikes from Oxford Harley Davidson, I get it too!!!
I've always been sports orientated, not power ranger type sports, but sport touring/adventure sport. I like riding fast!
After riding over 300 miles on the above loan bikes, I get the whole cruiser bike type! I don't mean the fringes, studs and tassles, but actually riding a cruiser on a variety of roads. It's a great way to travel on a motorcycle!!!

So do I, it's just that you feel like you are going fast at a much lower speed on an HD
You also start using all the old skills you used to need to stay alive
