Let's hope the starter of this thread doesn't have the dubious pleasure of dealing with the Triumph factory warranty department. There is one individual who works in said department where if dealers phone up with a query and he answers they hang up immediately.

Good luck with the Tiger. Surely it cant have any more faults than the GS. Thought I was buying an indestructible wrld beating bike, but now seriously considering another VFR or Varadero.

Getting warranty sorted on the Trumpet CANNOT possibly be any worse than dealing with a BMW dealer. It took a 500 mile round trip to the Bike Show at Birmingham to whinge at the BMW UK technical rep, to sort out the transmission noise. My dealer did not want to know despite the bike having covered less than 1500 miles
