I just got outbid by a Fiver on an Erde single bike trailer in Glescae on eBay. Of course, there's no way of telling how high the other bidder was prepared to go.

It wisnae any of you hoodlums wiz it....?

Lucky escape. They are schite. Been there, done that twice (after one got stolen). They run normal ball races, not taper rollers and are really too lightweight for what I know you want to use it for!

Erde Trailer

I have an Erde 3 bike trailer and have towed the GS all over Netherlands and Germany.

It has been used to recover a number of motorcycles from all over the UK including Pan 1300s.

I paid £400 for it on ebay some years ago and travelled down to Liverpool to collect it.

The previous owner had used it to transport off road bikes to competitions and events.

Parts are easily obtained (I replaced one light unit after a friend had borrowed it and broke it) and simple to change.

ERDE single bike trailers are the Dogs Bollox, I've done over 30K miles towing one..

ALWAYS change the bearings immediately on any ERDE TRELGO or DAX trailer if original metal sided bearings are still present....
£14 per side....

They always looked a bit "lightweight" to me, but I would have to go with your experience and mileage

One benefit is that they are plated, and you would never have a problem with Les Gendarmerie towing one in france.
