Outlook 2003 small problem... Help please

My Outlook has developed a strange habit. Whenever I minismise it with the small button top right of screen, it closes down the programme. I've reinstalled it but it still does it. It's not a terrible, though slightly annoying glitch. Any ideas welcom please!

Are you sure that you haven't just got it set so that it disappears from the taskbar, but can be maximised again from the quickstart toolbar:
