Bonjour fellow north westerners....

Thought I'd better come and say hello on here now as I've got my wheels...

After my K12S decided to throw a fueling fit on me last weekend, I took it into Williams where they managed to fit it in for some diagnosis... A few hours later, it had been traded in against a 1200GS... Thanks for the deal Kirk... to be honest you didn't need to do so much work on me, but I was happy with the deal and am now happy on the bike...

Delivered on Thursday afternoon, farkled yesterday and taken for its maiden voyage today down into Cheshire on a mystery tour... !!

Followed the "secret" signs to the "secret bunker":augie:augie:augie, and managed to find some random objects to make the photos more interesting.:D:D

Farkles so far are a Beowulf can (adds a little character), Famsa tankbag, and some mudguard protection front and rear.... Head guards on the way from Touratech then just got to sort the luggage situation out...

Its going to be used purely for road use, so can't wait to get the knobblie rubber off and some nice smooth road tyres fitted...

Saw a couple GS's out near crew today and an HP2.. I was out with our lass who rides a CBR600RR..

Tried persuading her across to the darkside, but the only one she likes at the moment is the S1000RR...

Anyways, there's an introduction. No doubts will see some fellow Tossers around, and I'll post up on here any rides outs I'm leading over on NorthUKbikers. Would be nice to have some fellow tossers come along as they all pick on me for being a Tractor rider !!:D:D:D:D:D

Aye she's dead chuffed with it.. Its only her second bike, after a Z750, which I think was holding back her riding, with its budget suspension ruining the handling... not what you really need when you're learning !!... This CBR is sport on though, and she loves it for its custom paint job, and howling Leo Vince can.. I'm just happier knowing the bike will look after her, as the Kwak was a liability !

Welcome, C-J. There are a few of us here in Preston... Colt, Ricardo, Coolcarbon sometimes returns & myself are the ones I know of.

Welocme to the mad house mate, was a pleasure to meet you and deal with you.
if your up for a ride out let me know as im always out on one of our demo bikes, usually around kirkby, the trough etc etc

Hi CJ ,

Hope you enjoy the GS.

Coincidenntally I logged onto advrider earlier and saw you Mrs's piccies from the same rideout . Hers are better than yours;)

That CBR is very, very nice. My first proper bike after passing my test was the original CBR6 and you are right it'll look after her :thumb

See you both at the pub night ?:beerjug:

Nice bike, welcome aboard.

I'm up the M6 a little further, Lune valley. out and about around there and Kirby / Hawes way some weekends and commuting down to sunny Bolton during the week.

Enjoy the bike, see you out and about sometime
