How high do you want to lift the front?

It its only to get the front high enough to get the front wheel out, TT sell a very simple device to hold the front up.

If not high enough, try a basic car scissor jack under the sump. If you put the bike up with the center stand on a reasonably deep block of wood you can get quite a bit of hight.

or if you just want to get the front tire off then just put the bike on the centre stand and weight the back end...easy and no extra cost for stupid BMW stand!

I've got a Micron front paddock stand that I've used with the last unmpteen bikes I've owned (K and R BM's included) and which works perfectly well on the 1200 too. From memory it cost me about £50 but you can probably get them cheaper now.

When changing tyres I used it in conjunction with the centre stand - rear wheel off, support (trolley jack with wooden block) placed a couple of inches below the final drive, front up on the paddock stand and front wheel off too. Solid as a rock.

Car jack and a block of wood......works for me.
