Lets see some pics of the new bike - hope you made it home before the rain :beerjug:

Super run back by the coast road and I was having so much fun I headed on to Donegal via Claudy etc (fabulous roads). Heavy heavy rain all the way home from Letterkenny. Didn't stop me smiling though :D
Superb bike and delighted I got it :thumb

Great stuff Davey - glad you had a good run on it.

It does look suspiciously like the one I had out the other night - you sure they didn't just give it a wash and stick on a new plate? :D

Would be interesting to hear your thoughts in comparison to the Varadero.

I still maintain that the newer varaderos are a better road bike than the older 1200 - crap offroad though-heavy with all the weight carried high. There's no comparison between the LC and the vara though. Huge weight difference and 25% more oomph. Loving all the gadgets, the sound and the way it rides. The riding modes all make a big difference and I used them all today naturally - I wondered if I'd end up using just one mode all the time but I don't think that will be the case. Dynamic mode is very responsive :thumby:
The Honda was super and gave me no bother whatsoever which was a relief after my last 1200 but I'd lost interest in it and it didn't entice me out very often any longer...

Well wear, Davey.
Throw some knobblies on it and bring it down for a real test. :thumb2

O and mine came with Continental Trail Attack 2 tyres. Haven't seen any others with them. Any others have had the new metzler next tyres. Happy enough so far.

health to enjoy it David. I see you didn't go for the scaffolding around the engine?

Just back from the Off Road School in Wales where I rode an identical bike. The school bikes don't have bars either but they went thru a lot of chemical metal and new rocker covers over the 2 days :blast
Rocker covers seem to be made of silver paper. Drop the bike even at a standstill and they're holed
Brilliant bike off road tho. ABS is so good they keep it turned on.
