Painting / stickers on schuberth helmet

Have a schuberth helmet in all White and am looking to put some graphics on it . Most helmet makers say not to but I know many do. I know many use stickers obtained from riders in our own GS club group.
Does anyone know the why not to paint / or sticker the helmet or has negative experience of doing this ?.

Because they're the only ones that would worry about sticking stickers onto a helmet that's already got stickers stuck to it of course.

have a look on humvee graphics website you'll find some good stickers there.

Your not supposed to put stickers on or paint plastic helmets but Fibreglass/composite helmets are fine.
