Painting Valve Covers

I have slightly marked the valve cover on the right hand side..... The bike has "Magnisium" matt gold coloured valve colours. Has any on had them painted and by whom?

Me too. Asked the BMW Bodyshop manager if I could get them painted matt black and he cane back with a quote of £60 if I take them off. Said they would powder coat them rather than paint them due to the heat etc. I haven't gone ahead yet but may do so as I know that they will guarantee the work.
I am also waiting for a response to some corrosion near the rear brake fixings so will see what they say about that before I go ahead.
