Pak-Meister seat kit - Anyone tried one

Isn't that very similar to Seat Concepts ?

I got a Seat Concept Tall, Embossed Cover - which have served me quite well, probably not as good as a custom made seat, but it works for me. I will probably get a new one next year slightly harder, and with Carbon cover as the Embrossed is a "bit" slippery ....

And for the price it's a bargain.

Looks to be same and description identical, $20 cheaper will see what postage price looks like. Sounds like the carbon is the one to go for as I don't like a slippy seat.

The only complain I have about it is that the firmness of the seat is the same, which means that where the seat dibs (with the tall one) there is a drop - even if the seat is fully flat - which is the reason why I'm getting a firmer one next year ... I would suggest that you drop them an email if you have any questions, and they answer within a day or two.

Thanks Casper, I have ordered the standard height one with Carbon cover as it looked slightly more shaped for rider and pillion. My thinking is it is a starter for ten, hopefully if I need to adapt it my local upholsterer can sort it out.

As I can't ride at the moment my wife took my bike for a spin for first time ever. First thing she said on her return was that the standard seat was awful... This instantly meant the purse strings were loosened when I mentioned a new seat :)

Will be interesting to see how it compares with the comfort seat I used to own.
