panniers/fittings for r850GS?

Hi folks,

I'm buying a used r850 GS and the previous owner has removed the panniers and pannier rails to fit to their new bike. Rather than buy new ones I hope to find secondhand ones on eBay or similar. Does anyone know if the pannier rails and panniers on the 850 are the same as for the r1100/r1150 GSs?

Yes I believe they are

Yep - As far as I'm aware, the 850, 1100 and 1150 all share the same subframe and tail units and as such the panniers and rails should be interchangeable.
