Interesting...

But can anyone translate?
It seems there is an adapter kit for H&B frames???

Then maybe a universal adapter??

Can't see anywhere that they have their own frames?

check the site out after "Spooks" and I'll translate it (us Germans aren't just good at the beachtowel stuff, eyhhh?!)

Right, here goes. I only translated what I think are the main issues.

• When these were designed, off-road stability with acceptable weight was the main requirement. Sealed against Spraywater and dust as well as theft protection were further demands. Rounded edges to avoid injury after accident.
• Tested by both all relevant motorcycle journals and – more important to us – tested in countless distant journeys and in travel accounts found to be goo.
• Enduro bikers, who want to travel with two two boxes, can adjust width by combining different sized boxes on the right and left.
• The JUMBO BOX can also take a 23cm diameter helmet
• …
• tightly screwed on lid with rubber seal and a spring-loaded handle (with a pre-drilled hole for lock and a cylinder lock) on the narrow side. Please order cylinderlocks separately.

Please remember ...

• Only take smallest possible DÄRR boxes, too much available space leads to taking too much luggage (sic!!!)
• …
• DÄRR boxes are safe against spray water, but not “dive”-sealed. Point welds and lower rims can be sealed with silicon
• … We don’t recommend painting, as only expensive powdercoating will last on aluminium
• …
• fitting problems are only known to us with the Honda XRV750 Africa Twin, as the original silencer sticks out beyond the surface of the luggage frame

The DÄRR box bonus offer
If you buy 2 Daerr bike boxes and 2 Daerr/H&B adaptors, you receive if wanted the following for free:

• 2 cylinder locks
• 2 elastics

I assume that the price tables are relatively self-explanatory, but if you want to know more, get back to me.

The chap I bought my latest bike from had a pair of these in his garage and they are certainly well made. The lower joint stood out as fantastic german engineering and very well finished off. They look a very cheap alternative to Zega boxes.

Have Fun

These look like excellent value for money. Walkon can you translate some information on the adaptor brackets for the H&B rails please? Does it say what H&B rails are required and is the price for the adaptor brackets for a pair?

If these are as good as they look, I can't wait until the civil one trys to sell another set of used zegas!

:D

Cheers

Will try to get to my pc tonite (after having watched the Euan McG DVD my wife bought today), and translate the other stuff (if I'm still in a fit state after the DVD:upyou

I wonder if anyone can work out the exact prices of these panniers?
Is there any VAT?
Do they export and how much would it cost?

Anyone else thinking about buying them?

They look good and I might give them a go.

Mike.
