These are designed for the BMW Aluminium Pannier sets (1200GSA & 800GS) and come as a complete set of 3 High quality, durable bags.
At the moment - the set is offered in one colour only - but being 600 Denier Polyester - there are numerous colours available...

I'm trying to guage interest for the bags before I come over to the UK..... input would be appreciated?

Full set shown:

Well they look much better quality than the BMW GS ones I have and better thought out shape wise (especially n/s). I suppose it will be down to cost at the end of the day.

They look pretty good. :thumb2

Is the top box bag a 2-piece affair? Looks like the top section zips off?

Choice of colours would be good... as would being able to buy pannier bags/top bag separately

The Topbox liner is a one-piece unit... the top section merely flips open to give access to loose items you might want to keep seperate.

Don't take this as set-in-stone, but we are probably looking at around...... +/- £80.00 for the complete set. (Seperate Topbox & Panniers will be available..)

I will be creating a colour palate with basic Red, Denim Blue, Black, Silver/Grey & Khaki as possibles.

The colour does not really affect cost... just the type of material used.

We will also be looking at sending these sets over to the UK in boxes of 10-sets. All due to shipping/postal costs - but when I finally move over in October... I'll bring a box-load!

Please note however that there are some changes being made to the set with regard to inserts etc.... or should I call them "organisers' - Pics to follow!

I would be very interested in a completed set for that price :thumb2

A simpler shaped pannier bag for non-BMW panniers might be a good addition to the range. Lots of folk have 8" + 10" panniers from other manufacturers that don't neeed the 'extension' bit on the nearside.

Wat are the actual dimensions of the bags?

Price looks brilliant. I like the colour too.

I like the look of those, I'd certainly be interested :thumb

Is the little bag at the top of the nearside liner removable Goose or an integral part of it?

Will you be doing any for the BMW 1150GSA ali panniers?

Yes - I'm hoping to get a whole range of sets designed - sort of like setting up a small business here in Cape Town, before I leave.

Goosepilot, when are you over in the UK?

Well as "Safricans" are now considered part of te "unwanted" people of the world and have to pay huge $$ for a VISA to the UK... my existing visa expires in June this year... and I may well be looking for an excuse to get on the plane to get away from the football madness here.....
Officially - we are permanently leaving SA in October this year...

Is the little bag at the top of the nearside liner removable Goose or an integral part of it?

Aidan - at the moment that little bag is integral part of the bigger bag. It basically sits over that ridge in the GSA's exhaust cutout. However it seems that it may well work better if it's removable - maybe a velcro'd bag ....?

Righto - seems that maybe the interest is indeed there.

I will get the costing done to ship a box of 10 sets to the UK - BUT it may well be that they would all be one colour for now, simply due to the way the fabric is bought......
Normal parcel service may well be fairly cheap, but I would possibly suggest that the box is sent to one person and possibly re-distributed from there?
Each individual set will be wrapped and named to it's respective owner.... so should be a fairly simple excercise.

IF I can indeed arrange a trip over - I'll stuff the lot into my luggage.... so will advise shortly! :thumb

Goosepilot. I'm happy to be that person if you want me to collate names etc etc and then distribute them from here? Paul

Paul - great - thanks for the offer. Obviously it's subject to the other chaps agreeing... BUT don't you live rather close to Magedan..?:augie
