paralever adjustment

whats the bm procedure for adjusting the play in the paralever? the dealer just told me it would be half an hour labour £30.helpful if i could'nt twist a spanner.with no haynes manual out i dont want to do more damage than good with a strong arm and big socket and huge hammer.

You would need a torque wrench to start off with and all the toque settings. To be honest if you have not done it before and not handy with tools, spend the £30 and sleep well at night. Will check in the manual if there is a procedure and post it later.
