paralever boot wear...?

Morning all, I gave the Gsa a scrub yesterday and noticed a cloudy mark on the arm which im guessing it of the heel of my boot, has any one else noticed the same thing and have you put anything on it to stop it, I was thinking maybe a peice of black vynl or something,

Yes mine is the same keep thinking of putting some thing on it but havent bothered yet ive done just over 9000 now, put some helicopter or 3m tape over it, if you are worried about it.

Cheers I havent looked yet but im just wonering if the heel guard can be spaced out v.slightly to stop it, crap design really,
