paralever swing arm bearings.

ive just got the swing arm off my 93 100gs to fix the crank oil seal and im confused about the swing arm bearings. they weree all loverly when in the frame but now theyre out theyre as loose as buggery. are they tapered? (cant seem to pull the centres out). haynes says theyre sealed for life but in the next sentence tells you to remove the inners and regrease...

The paralever bearings are sealed for life. If you need to remove them you will have to destroy them by breaking the inner out first.

The earlier bearings could be greased.

What you shouldn't be doing with the Paralevers is pumping grease in through the swinging arm spindles.
