Guys

Has anyone got the proper torque setting for the left hand pivot screw twixt the swing arm and bevel box/rear drive (The one thats always tight to undo !)

Unless im mistaken the haynes and clymer manuals differ in their suggested figures !!

Thanks all

GS100, 93 model by the way.

yup clymer says 98- 112 nm and haynes says 150nm take your pick as long as you thread lock it, it will be fine ( mine is at 150nm and threadlocked) now trying to find the spec in the BWM manual :rob

If I have read it correctly it says 105nm +-7nm

Torque

preload bearings 20nm
retighten bearings 10nm
Lock nut 107nm
According to BMW manual
hope this helps
