Paranoia?

I pulled the final drive off the bike tonight (r1150gs) to replace the paralever bearings. There has always been a dirty mark on the front of the FD casing were it attaches to the torque arm.....and I keep washing it off. When I took the gator off to remove the FD I noticed a bit of oil in the gator. When I looked up the drive shaft tube it was obvious that a little oil is running down it from the gearbox output shaft end. I checked the gearbox oil level and it appears ok. The bevel box oil level was also ok(neither have been looked at for 6k and the bike is due its 24k service before I go to Scotland on Saturday :D ) Two things really. Should I be worried about this?? And if I have to replace the gearbox output seal....How difficult a job is it??
 
I've got the same job to do this w/end....my oil levels have not dropped either so I'am just going to do the brgs.........but I'am not going to get paranoid.
