Park Lane/Nine Elms

Rode past Park Lane in battersea today & noticed that there are no signs for Park Lane B*W anymore they are all B*W Nine Elms.
does this mean they are trying to distance themselves from all the bad press ??????

It was more to try to ease confusion with customers.

Originally when the Nine Elms and Battersea sites opened in November 2003, they were known as Park Lane BMW Nine Elms or Battersea respectively ... but apparently it was too confusing having the Park Lane name in the title (customers thought the parts and servicing were also in Mayfair) so earlier this year the names were changed.

BMW Battersea (which is on Stewart's Road and does bike and car parts/servicing)

BMW Nine Elms (fast track car parts/servicing)

All are owned and operated by BMW Park Lane Ltd.
