Took the bike to Park Lane workshops at Battersea today to speak about a few corrosion issues and the front seat which was wearing away. was expecting to get nowhere with them and was prepared to send letters off to BMW etc.

However to my surprise they agreed to renew all the bits as requested. So top marks to Glen Davies & the other boys down there at Park Lane, Battersea. They gave me what I asked for, excellent customer service.

Me too

Mr Davies was very accomodating today and I am having some nice new forks and disks shortly.

So that would be Park Lane 1 and SLM 0 as I went to both within a day of one another and SLM told me basically to f**k off as the bike was fine. The next day the suspected warped front disk is now being replaced at Park lane as they correctly assessed the bike.

:clap for Park Lane.

Nick,

Let's face it, the only reason Park Lane replaced it was because you span your head through 360 degress and spat green vomit at them while humming the theme tune to Omen IV.

Funny that, I was told by another dealer that there wasnt a problem & corrosion wasnt covered anyway.

Corrosion is most definitely covered. My old 1150 had quite a few bits replaced under warranty for corrosion issues including the infamous fork brace as well as wheels, forks and rear drive shaft (my dealer was getting a bit carried away at this point :) )

Bike went in today for new back wheel, disks pads, seat. Still waiting for Fork Brace. Excellent service.

Had new Bt 020s fitted whilst it was in there, definitley different to the Trailwings. Feel more stable on the bends.
