Northolt favourite or West Ruislip or maybe even Ruislip Manor. Not looking to use someone's drive just wondering about some sensible side streets with no restrictions & where the car will be safe.....

Tubing into London?

Assuming you're looking to get the Central line into central London, come in a bit further to either Perivale (my favourite) or Greenford. Both have little station car parks that are reasonably priced, or I believe the on-street parking is restricted weekdays only.

West Ruislip you can park on my drive, half a mile from the station :thumb2

And you can walk to Ruislip Manor if you're feeling athletic (or Ruislip, closer & same lines)

I won't be there, got friends staying, but it won't be an issue, plenty of room

Yep , Central Line....going to take the girls to see the Olympic Park, assuming we can get in:confused: If not then we'll soak up the atmosphere in one of the Parks.

Jon my friend you have a PM :thumb

Replied :thumb2 no worries. Getting into the park might be the issue tho :(

North Acton.

You can park in North Acton south of the Western Ave all day Sat & Sun.
It's Zone 2 on the tube.
My road's W3 6TP.

You need tickets even to get into the park

Thanks Dave , it appears so , for some reason Louise thought we could just turn up early and just pay to get into the park :eek.
Anyhow we'll just pop into town and soak up the atmosphere, check out the sights and sit in one of the parks . Is it worth popping along to check the Olympic park out from the outside or is there bugger all too see from the streets. :nenau

Ian

I wouldn't bother going along just to look from the outside. Stay in town and watch one of the screens in the park. Worth getting olympic park tickets at some stage for the Paralympics as there is a real buzz inside there.
