Northolt favourite or West Ruislip or maybe even Ruislip Manor. Not looking to use someone's drive just wondering about some sensible side streets with no restrictions & where the car will be safe.....
Assuming you're looking to get the Central line into central London, come in a bit further to either Perivale (my favourite) or Greenford. Both have little station car parks that are reasonably priced, or I believe the on-street parking is restricted weekdays only.
Yep , Central Line....going to take the girls to see the Olympic Park, assuming we can get in If not then we'll soak up the atmosphere in one of the Parks.

Thanks Dave , it appears so , for some reason Louise thought we could just turn up early and just pay to get into the park .
Anyhow we'll just pop into town and soak up the atmosphere, check out the sights and sit in one of the parks . Is it worth popping along to check the Olympic park out from the outside or is there bugger all too see from the streets.

I wouldn't bother going along just to look from the outside. Stay in town and watch one of the screens in the park. Worth getting olympic park tickets at some stage for the Paralympics as there is a real buzz inside there.
