My '08 GSA is coming up to a 24K service which I will do myself. I would normally just buy a complete service kit from Motorworks but am wondering if there's any real benefit in upgrading (read more expensive) the plugs and air filter. My bike is fitted with Remus headers/Akra can and a Wunderlich Performance Controller so I wonder if there's any benefit/real world difference in performance between the standard filter jobby or the K&N/Blue longerlife filters? I'm not looking for more horses, just a smoother power delivery especially from low revs as mine is still a tad hesitant at times.

For the same reasons I'm also wondering if there's a benefit from switching to Iridium or Brisk plugs over the OEM's.

If anyone has tried these combinations I would be grateful to hear their thoughts.

Thanks in advance
