The LC is booked in for first service tomorrow so I just gave parts a call on the off chance they may have some accessories available. I've had no luck upto end of last week with any dealer within 100 miles.

I'm after crash bars, topbox+backrest and tankbag. Amazingly they've had one set of bars arrive today unallocated and the topbox is in stock, so they'll be fitted tomorrow. :thumb2

The search for a tankbag continues. Might go for one of the smaller SW-Motech ones, just not sure about the tank ring idea.

I've just fitted a SW Motech "Bags Connection" Daypack tank bag (6-9 litre expandable) to my GS,
I've had it on my last three bikes (Triumphs) so had to buy a new tank ring (£27) easy to fit, 5 minute job!
It's really easy to fit/remove the bag in seconds for refuelling. The locking mechanism is extremely robust.
There's a bit of self assembly required due to it being for universal fitment you have to choose where the mounting shoe bolts on & drill the base accordingly.
Here's a pic of it on my 800XC. There's a clip on map cover available, found that it doesn't like turbulent air at high speed though! Its small Velcro fastening at the rear isn't strong enough so I've covered the map case btm & tank bag top with more Velcro.
