It's a long story but I am away from my bike at the moment. I need to know the height from the saddle to footpeg on a 1200gs adventure pre wc. MY wife is having a new false leg so I need to know what angle her leg will be at. This will let us know what clearance she needs at the back of her prosthesis. A photo would be so cool, cheers guys.

Mate that's superb, thanks for that will be able to get her leg adjusted to fit now. You won't see that any time soon in BMW marketing pack I'm guessing lol!

Hang on....
The adventure has a rear saddle that is 50mm lower at the front compared to the GS. The BMW designers had a brain fart and made the rear saddle slope down to meet the front.....where as on the GS the saddle is almost horizontal. Compleat pain in the butt for SHMBO, so we had the padding lifted 50mm and she is happy in the knees

Yep, did swap the rear seat for a standard GS one for a try out, but my passenger says she preferred the adventure seat.
It doesn't slope as much as it looks in the photo though.

The Adventure carrier frame designers had a Germanic thing about straight lines. So we got pillion grab handles that are too low and an additional carrier with all its added weight to sit the top case at a useful height.

Well done boys. What was so wrong with the standard GS carrier system?

Just like the dogmatic need to have the front shock absorber sitting vertical rather than mounting near the steering ball joint. Ooh yes it matches the back shock... :)
Oh dear, the telelever swing arm now has to be made a lot stronger. It now weighs more than the rear swing arm. D'Oh.
