Password Revealer

Can anybody point me in the direction of a password revealer for Windows XP? I've forgotten my internet connection password (the one that shows as a row of *****) Google brings up loads of them but the half dozen or so I've tried don't work

Thanks, I just tried it but it didn't work - it just 'revealed' a row of *****.

That is the only one I ever use, is doing a hard reset back to default settings possible and a workable alternative?

Is it a broadband connection password or Modem password?

Broadband you can talk to your providor to reset your password. If it is a modem connection you might be able to get it with a serial port logger (google : free serial port monitor)

It's the password I use to log onto my broadband connection. I've just bought a wireless modem router and am trying to configure it to connect to my broadband connection but I need my password to do that. I have asked Talk Talk to reset my password but they're taking their time . . .

Not sure what you mean?

Is the password used to access a hardware device or is it an application? If it is harware consider a reset, if it is software speak to your ISP to get it reset

All sorted after an 8 minute phone call to Talk Talk and a password reset. At least it was 'only' 10p a minute.
