Pc won't play mapsource DVD

Help please my pc will play CDs but not DVD need to load city nav dvd

I had the same problem. My old computer could read CDs but not DVDs, so I had to wait to get a computer with a DVD reader.

I'm sure that PanEuropean posted on here somewhere that you could temporarily connect a Playstation (except I don't think he called it a Playstation) to the computer to download the info from the DVDs. I have had a quick look but can't find it, but if you've got time search on "PanEuropean". It's on here somewhere.

if you need a dvd-rom drive, they are pretty cheap here

easy fit too

I used a mate's computer, loaded everything onto a portable hard drive, then downloaded onto my C.drive. Long winded, especially on my ancient (six years FFS!!) computer.

Thanks guys I ended up taking Cookies advice buying a Liteon Dvd/Cd writer - rewriter and replace old Cd writer
