I picked up a second-hand PCIII-USB off someone here a while ago, and finally got round to trying to fit it.

I noted that the injector connectors and throttle position sensor plugs on the PCIII wiring harness have no protective boots on them, unlike the original wiring.

I use my bike ( 08 GSA) day in, day out, summer and winter and would like to add some form of weather protection to these connectors. They are relatively easy to disassemble, and reassemble, in order to get the boots in place, but I have no idea where to get the boots from. Any ideas, anyone ?

You'll probably pay £20 odd quid for a 'boot' Martin....IIWY, I'd use some decent heat shrink tube...you'll get a kit for the same amount and you can use it on anything from then onwards ;)

PS I've absolutely no idea how much they are.....prolly 2.99 :blast:D

Yeah, I had thought about doing that using heat shrink or self-amalgamating tape; but fancied trying to a "proper" job, or at least one that looked like a proper job ;)
