be careful:rob

it looks like the screwthread filler cap.
so not the factory optional original pd tank.

the seller tells me it has not been repaired.

so it may be a special rare one or not.

The detail round the front tube looks odd. It looks to me as though somebody has modified a standard para tank to look like a mono Paris Dakar one.

The blistering up the front and on the side faces are where it would have been welded.

so it may be a special rare one or not.

Looks Like an Alloy tank to me the way that the paint is blistering from below ???

Either that or someone tried and early solid colour basecoat and Fcuked it up

I take it back it may be also covered in Isopon!

If you don;t get it dried out it has moisture in it (the only filler that wasn't Hygroscopic was Plastic padding PP50 and PP100) and then it breathes out as vapour causing the blisters!

That's one of those Yorkshire made tanks. I bought one from Tarka a few years ago.pyscho has one on his bike and a few of the other guys have had them over the years

They were made for twin shock frames that's why yours doesn't fir properly at the back

I've no idea who made them but they do come up for sale occasionally.

The twin shock frame is wider at the rear than yours. Even if you can get the tank to fit it's wider than your seat so looks odd.

Bigyellags had one fitted to the bitsa he put together.

I sold the one I had to a guy in Colorado for the same price I got it from Tarka but with the postage he paid £175 for it and seemed happy with the deal.
