Has anyone fitted a pdm60 to an LC GSA..... which wire did you tap into for the ignition trigger.
Multimeter or test light will doThanx for your input lads, but how does one determine which of the many wires there is,.. is a switched live? electrically I can just about change bulbs and wire a plug![]()

Test light is what I use, easy peasy; just put the clamp on a good ground (or the black negative terminal on the battery) and stick the pointy end on the live wire (usually in a socket/plug is best) and if the bulb lights up when you turn the ignition on then you've found a trigger wire.
NB: To find a good ground put the clamp on the positive red terminal of the battery and put the pointy end on a frame bolt, if it lights up it's a good ground.

Now that's the kind of answer an 'electrophobe' needs
One (basic) question - where did you fit it?
I've just got a new GSA and have discovered that EVERYTHING is in a different place compared with pre-LC.
Thought I'd fit it under the seat - no chance, that's where the ECU and fuses now sit. Could be fitted atop the fuses (as per an Adv Rider post) but I'm using the low seat position so that's ruled out.
Haven't removed the tank to look for space yet, that's next, but any advice would be welcome......

Mine sits under the front seat with a bit of double sided tape on top of the ECU thingy, and just in front of it is a plug you can take your trigger lead from this with your positap thing
I leave my seat in the high position and it fits there no problem might be able to get a photo on sunday if you want
